it's days like this that i am so proud of my small town (not that i'd ever want to live there, again, let's go ahead & make that clear.) last week, chase marta, a soldier from my home town died in afghanistan. such a travesty. i knew chase when we were young & he was always such a sweet good kid. yesterday, his body was welcomed home for the final time. and many members of our small community were there to pay their respect to him. many of them never knew chase but they were still there to honor one of our country's fallen soldiers. i am so proud of chase. i am so proud of our community.
